Vancouver, BC—April 16, 2024: Kinzoo is pleased to announce the launch of several new features in its Kinzoo Messenger app. We redesigned your chat screen and made it possible to archive chats on your home screen, and we made changes to the way you can manage your group chats. These new updates represent some of the most requested features from our community.
Sometimes, chats run their course, and you no longer need access to them every day. Our community wanted more control over what they saw on their chat screen, and that’s why now, you can now archive your conversations and group chats. Just tap the three dots in the top corner, and tap the archive option in the menu. Archiving removes a chat from your home screen without deleting it permanently. You can restore it to your home screen at any time through your settings.
And, we heard lots of requests about group chats, so you now have new ways to manage them. You can add personalized photos and add or remove members. Groups can still only be formed between people who are already connected. Anyone can add new members or change the photo, but only the person who created the group can remove people.
Our community also expressed that they wanted a new experience that felt a bit more grown-up—something user-friendly, fun and a little cleaner. That’s why your chat screen has a brand new look. We updated the interface to give our users the kind of messenger app they would be proud to share with their friends and family.
And, finally, we also launched the media gallery, so you can easily find pictures and videos in each of your chats. Just tap the three dots in the top corner of your chat screen to see everything in one place. This makes it even easier to enjoy the memories you’ve created in Kinzoo Messenger.
“The only way we can build the best possible version of Kinzoo Messenger is to listen closely to our community,” says founder Sean Herman. “These new updates and features are the top requests we heard from our users, which is why we’re excited to get them into your hands. We’re a small team, and we’d love to build all the amazing things our community requests—and we’ll keep working hard to make that a reality.”
As a company, we’re always keen to hear what you think about our apps. And, when you ask for new features, it helps shape the future of the platform.
